Hey noob. This post and list of comments is about STP. Evidently you got your gears stuck back on Thursday, when the subject was the Beatles, the Crickets, and the superiority of Waylon to both John and Buddy.
The Crickets? Really Shooter? I like Buddy Holly + The Crickets and all, but if you’re going to make outrageous, Gower-esque statements, go all the way. You might as well claim that the Beatles aren’t a better insect band than The Scorpions or Alien Ant Farm.
If I had yesterday been asked to guess what artist you’d cover today, I certainly wouldn’t have picked STP. Every day offers a surprise here at songsnotbyme.
This one is STP a la “The Who” in my mind. I liked it though. I got a chuckle thinking about you straining your voice into a microphone for the really high vocals. Nice work as usual Mike.
